football mascot at VVOR

One of the highlights of Dylan's football season was when he got to walk onto the field with the 'real' players (the first team).
Here he is, posing proudly in his football uniform. This really was the smallest size they had!

King Willem-Alexander

After many, many years (generations) of Queens, the Dutch now have a King on the throne. There was great excitment leading up to the big day and all the primary schools organised 'The Kings games'. This turned out to be a very orange day filled with lots of music, fun and games.

B diploma!

Monday night swimming lessons continue and Dylan got his b diploma last night!
Not the best photo but his diving is excellent.
(Everything is looking pretty good.
It's now only his freestyle that needs a bit more work.)

summer in February

We had an exceptionally long and cold winter and by the February holidays I was in need of some sunshine so we raced off to Joburg for a (long) week. It was sunny and  hot and exactly what the doctor ordered!

Travis took to the water like a (VERY noisy) happy little fish and Dylan got to show off all his new swimming skills.
