Mother's day was a while ago but we had such fun that I thought I had better post the photos anyway!

flowers for mama!

Dylan always picks flowers on the way home from the shops. Sometimes he picks flowers for Granny and Grandpa, sometimes for Oma and Opa, sometimes for himself. Most of the time they are for Papa when he gets home from work. Last week it was a dandelion for Granny which got blown all over my laptop.

But today is my lucky day. Today the flowers were for mama!

camping at de Bossem

A couple of weeks ago we went camping in a luxury safari tent on a cow farm. Luxury meant we scored a heater which was necessary as it was freezing. Literally. It was the coldest start to May that we have had since they started measuring weather eons ago! It didn't bother Dylan much, he loved it. He chatted to the farmer and admired his tractor and fed the cows and jumped on the trampoline and played football. When stuck inside he ran around in circles or read books or policed the entrance so that Travis couldn't escape. We also got to watch the World Cup Klootschieten and Dylan clapped and cheered on the contestants. Topsport!
