holiday fun in Holland

One of our outings in the summer holiday was to Drievliet amsuement park. We went there two years ago with Dylan and it was a success so we decided it was time to go again. What fun!

Here we are in the big wheel

The Crazy tractors were Dylan's favourite ride last time and this time around it was hard to get Travis out of them.

We were lucky that it wasn't very busy. He didn't have to wait long!

The boys enjoyed the horses as well.

On the giant slides

Travis wasn't allowed on the water ride but Marko and Dylan went

On the way out we stopped at the fountains. This might just have been Dylan's favourite part of the day!

Travis was a little nervous at first but soon got in to the swing of things.

We each planted a pot with seeds, about 3 months ago.

Travis planted beans (he loves them), Dylan the strawberries, Marko chose chillies and me, tomatoes.

It didn't take long for them to start sprouting and Travis's beans took the lead from the beginning.

The beans were ready for picking and eating just before we left for SA

When we got back from SA, the tomato and chilli plants look rather sickly. Dylan's plant provided about 3 very small strawberries though!
