10 months

I have taken very few photos since the holiday. The main reason being that Travis came back sick. He had the chicken pox. Bad! He had an ear infection. In both ears. He had a cold. He had a cough. To top it all off, his first 2 top teeth arrived as well! (The third is now on its way!)

He still managed to be cheerful through most of it. Then he bounced and giggled and cuddled and waved and clapped and leopard crawled and played hide and seek and destroyed Dylan's train tracks and just generally kept us all entertained. He did most of this with his tongue sticking out of his mouth...

Travis was getting a little heavy for the baby carrier... this is how he travels to school now!

why Dylan loved Pam's place

This is what Pam has parked in her garage:
And this is what Pam has on the roof of her building:
And this is her view: (Absolute heaven for a 3 year old automobile fanatic. He would get out of bed and sit by her window in the morning and watch the trucks going by. As soon as he was allowed, he would head into the lounge and watch the trucks going by, from a different window... this one was even better because there was a large speed bump involved.)And of course he got to see Pam. And Jimi, the cat. I don't seem to have any photos of him though.

yet another holiday, and yes, loads of photos

Another holiday in the sun. Some serious sun this time. It was good fun and it was filled with all the usual things. Sun, sea, sand, swimming pools, ice-creams, family and friends. Dylan enjoyed the beach but wasn't too sure about the waves. (Thanks for the photos, Dad. Thanks to you too Pam. I nicked a few photos off your facebook.)Travis had his first real 'swimming' holiday. He was quite fascinated by the sea and absolutely loved the pool. He started splashing and kicking long before he actually got in. In fact, he got quite mad when I took him out every time! As much fun as it was, I wish we didn't have to travel so far to see Nanny, Grandpa and Pam. How perfect life would be if you all lived down the road! XXX

hot, hot, hot in the UAE!

By hot I mean 27 at 7am and 37 by noon. Do you know that they have 'chillers' for the pools there? Brilliant. It's max 15 here today... I miss the desert already.
