I had a lovely birthday celebration on Sunday/Monday, thanks for all the birthday wishes, messages, calls, mails and presents! Dylan enjoyed himself too, the highlight being the cupcakes of course! He stood and guarded the cakes for 15 minutes until the first guests arrived and he could finally eat one... ...that one in the middle.

4 1/2 months

We went to the clinic yesterday for his 3rd set of innoculations and Travis now weighs 7300g(in his defense, he had just had his milk, ha ha) and is 63.5cms.

He loves to examine anything he can get his hands on and all of it eventually ends up in his mouth. He has discovered that lying on his tummy is more exciting than lying on his back. The only problem is that he can't roll over on his own yet and he finds it very frustrating. He can pull himself up to sit though which he LOVES!

Travis also loves all the attention he gets from his big brother and whatever Dylan does makes him smile!

visit to opa en oma

last wednesday, i visited opa and oma. Dylan loves playing at their house (although he doesn't like Max the dog that much) and both grandparents like it at least as much!

Travis started his 'school' in november, so now i bring two boys twice a week. here's me cycling to the creche

Pam, these are for you

visitors

So I haven't really been in the mood for taking photos lately... If it hadn't been for two visits, there wouldn't be much to show for the last week at all.

Visit(or) nr. 1: Pam! She came in for a short, long weekend to meet Travis and we had great fun as we always do when she's around.

Visit nr. 2. Manon and Rosalie (and Sander and Wendy) came for an enjoyable sunday afternoon. Dylan wasn't too sure he wanted to share his new doll house, but soon changed his mind!Travis was very impressed with his cousin, but wasn't too impressed when I decided it was time for a group photo!

autumn

What better way to enjoy a sunny, autumn day then a walk through the forest? Off we went and Dylan showed off some of his new tricks on the step. Then he hunted for sticks and leaves and mushrooms. Travis enjoyed the fresh air as well, he got in a good nap, cuddled up with Marko!

I am sure I said smile...

3 months (and some)

Travis now weighs 6445g and is 62cms long. I hope he doesn't outgrow his sky cot (limit: 10kg and 65cms) before we fly to SA in December!

All of us got sick this week. Poor Dylan had the worst of it and then passed it on, in varying forms, to the rest of us.

By yesterday he felt much better and decided to read to Travis to cheer him up a bit.
