summer in Italy: Caorle

Our last 2 summer holidays turned out to be a little on the chilly side. This year we decided to take no chances and just keep driving until we reached somewhere where we were guaranteed of sun. We weren't disappointed!

Our first stop off was a hotel, on the beach in a gorgeous small town called Caorle (East of Venice).

playing in the sea

any guesses what song is playing on the beach now?

fun in the sand
Travis developed a small hamster-like smile this holiday!
that's better!

any excuse to get back in the water!

The highlight of this part of the holiday was when we hired the pedal boat, on our last day. Lots of fun. The sea is very shallow for quite far so we had to pedal out quite a bit before we could slide or jump off the boat!

Posers!
