Our visit to SA was great fun again. We got very lucky with the weather and most of the time was hot and sunny. I always have far too many photos to sort through after the holidays and never really know where to start. So this time I will start with the highlight. We spent a night at
Heia Safari Ranch , with Granny and Grandpa, which the boys loved. It's an amazing spot that makes you feel like you are far away from everything. It's great watching zebra's drink from the swimming pool,
watching the giraffes wandering between the rondavels,
watching the monkeys, peacocks and impala from your balcony first thing in the morning...
admiring the zonky,
just generally enjoying the nature, peace and quiet,
and of course swimming and playing...
(and eating your toes!?)
