a bit of fun

We are finally all better, long may it last! In between Travis's horrible cough, Dylan's flu and chicken pox, and my flu, I still managed to take a few postable photos. Here are the boys having some fun. I love them to bits, they make me laugh every day!

8 months

Travis is 8 months old now and still a happy little chap. He has started to 'talk' a lot. He thinks he is very clever as he discovers each new sound, and shouts it out loudly! He then looks at you and waits for you to tell him how clever he is.

He is also sitting nicely and can push himself backwards when on his tummy.He loves examining and chewing everything,and of course spending time with Dylan!

a walk in the park

and again it snowed a bit in the Netherlands. I decided to take the boys to opa en oma, where we went for a walk in the park.

party time

Dylan had a wonderful party. He enjoyed getting ready for it: making biscuits, icing his train cake and blowing up balloons. He loved seeing everyone, opening presents, eating cake, biscuits, sweets and chips and especially loved having so many people to play with. In fact, he was quite distraught when everyone went home and the party was over. He was so exhausted though that he fell asleep as soon as we put him into bed. I think his 3rd birthday party was a big success!

3 years old!

Happy, happy birthday Dylan! He is 3 today and can finally tell everyone so! For the last few weeks he's been 'nearly 3, but still a little bit 2.'

We love you lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and...ok my boy, you get the picture?

This morning after lots of singing we headed downstairs to open presents. He LOVES his kitchen and can now 'cook just like als Papa!' Tomorrow it's party time!Wow, pots and pans too!Hey, another present hiding in the cupboard......let me just put something on to cook before I open it.Fried banana anyone?Oops, should have washed my hands first.Now we wait.There we go Travis, kiwi or banana?And off we go again.
