Burj Dubai

the tallest building in the world is now Burj Dubai, but if Dylan had it's way his tower would soon be taller! here he is balancing on dad's leg to reach for the top

It's snowing! Dylan loved his first adventure out into the snow, he especially loved testing out his moonboots and throwing snowballs.

All in all a good warm up (?) for Christmas in Les Menuires...

Just to let you know we are still here, I thought I had better post a couple of photos... and let you know that the clever boy can now count to 10 (although he skips 3 for some reason.)

What has he been getting up to lately? Playing with his cars of course. He now takes them with him to bed for cuddling when he goes to sleep!?

Dylan loves cakies! Here he is, taking the eating of one very seriously, at my party (thanks for the photo, Petra)... and here he is enjoying the leftovers on Tuesday, right down to the last crumb!

Maybe it's because of his Springbok t-shirt, but Dylan kept running up and down the kitchen this morning. plenty of time for me to get the camera and take these photos. "look at him go, this boy can really fly"

The days are getting colder, wetter and darker but sometimes you are blessed with blue skies and sunshine when you wake up. When this happens, there is no excuse to stay indoors.

growing up

We got back from SA to find that Dylan could suddenly reach the handle of the lounge door. Nothing like a bit of sunshine and water to make little boys grow. We have had to turn the handle around to keep him in the lounge (and away from the staircases!)...
